  2. 2Install HiTCF and authorise it with your HiTCF account.
  3. 3Then just ask it for a TCF speaking Tâche 3.

Chrome extension

Reading Le Monde, Wikipédia or a course handout? Double-click a French word and its HiTCF card opens right beside it — meaning, IPA, conjugation, audio, examples — and one click saves it, with the sentence, to your word list.

Add to Chrome
How to use it
  1. 1Once installed, sign in to hitcf.com in the same browser — the extension uses that sign-in.
  2. 2Open any French page and double-click a word.
  3. 3Tap the star on the card to save it, then review it on HiTCF.

Works in Edge too: open the same link in Edge, click "Allow extensions from other stores" at the top of the page, then add it.

Questions

Who can join the beta?

Members only.

Does the ChatGPT plugin need a membership?

Fetching tasks doesn't; the official score does — the same membership as the web, not a separate purchase.

Does the Chrome extension need a membership?

No. A free account gets 100 lookups a day; members have no cap. Saved words land in the same word list as on the site.

What do I need?

An iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later.

Does my progress carry over from the web?

One account: practice history, mistakes, vocabulary and review progress are the same data on both sides.
